Day 1 Manali

Arrive at Manali, check into Campsite. Spend the day exploring the beauty of Manali on your own. Visit the intriguing Hadimba Temple or take a tour to the beautiful Solang Valley. Stay overnight at Manali.

Day 2From Manali base camp, drive till Chika (10250 feet)

All the participants will leave the base camp by 10 AM with their breakfast and packed lunch to start the trek.

We will start with a jeep ride to Jobra. While moving towards Hampta Dam we will get to view the exquisitely beautiful Pine forests, rock faces and trees like Maple, Walnut and Oak.

We will trek from Hampta dam till Chikka, which is our campsite for the first day. It takes around 2 hours to complete this part of the trek. The trek is easy with very less ascend. There is a small forest patch and then two wooden bridges to get you to the camp site. Chikka camp site is identified by big boulders and a beautiful waterfall.

Day 3Hike from Chika to Bhalu ka Ghera(11480 feet)

Wake up and tie your laces because Day 3 expects you to be energetic. While Trekking, we will be able to see the spectacular Dhauladhar range in the background and Indrasan peak in front.

The best part of today’s Trek that we have to cross two rivers one at the start just near to Chikka Campsite and other at JwaraNcusa. We will have our packed lunch after crossing the Jwarancusa.

Camping here will be like a dream come true! Your overnight stay will be at the camps at Balu ka Ghera.

Day 4Balu ka Ghera to Siaguru, Crossing Hampta Pass

This is the most spectacular part of the Trek as we cross the Hampta Pass and then descend to our campsite in Siaguru.

From Hampta Pass you can see the Indrasan Peak and its gigantic glacier. Today’s Trek will take us approximately 8 hrs to reach Siaguru. The ascent on this part of the Hampta Pass Trek will be moderate.

Day 5Siaguru to Chatru. Drive to Chandratal

This day we have an easy descent through the Hampta Valley. The massive mountains of the Pir Panjal and Spiti ranges dominate the entire landscape till the campsite at Chatru.

Chatru is a confluence point of paths from Rohtang Pass, Hampta Pass and Spiti. From Chatru if road and weather condition permit we head to the Chandratal and camp at suitable place according to the conditions.

Day 6Drive from Chandratal/Chatru to Manali via the Rohtang Pass

In the morning after breakfast we leave for Manali via the Rohtang Pass. Our wonderful Experience of Trekking in Himachal ends.

When you are that annoying friend who drops out. Don’t be that friend.Unfortunately, if due to unforeseeable circumstances you have no choice but to cancel, we’ll try to understand. In the meanwhile, why don’t you try to understand our cancellation policy? It’s a little like trekking- it’s a little complicated initially, but it’s a cakewalk once you get the hang of it.

The cancellation charges (apart from all the disappointment) are as follows :

  • Cancellations more than 30 days before the start of the trek Book any other trek in the next one year or get 80% refund
  • Cancellations between 30 and 20 days before the start of the trek Get 50% refund
  • Cancellations between 20 and 15 days before the start of the trek Get 30% refund
  • Cancellations less than 10 days before the start of the trek Ah, it’s a bit too late! Call up everyone you know and have them come to the trip because there’s no cash refund at such a short notice.

But if it’s something sudden like strikes, mudslides, earthquakes, crazy rainfall and the like, which is preventing us from conducting the trek, we will be offering you 50% of the total amount as a voucher. It will remain redeemable for the cancelled trek or any other, for the next one year so you will have plenty of time to travel with us again! If you’re planning on cancelling, shoot us a mail at cancellation@outlandertreks.com or call up at +91-8800705385.
